Test Bench UTB-NON-Elevated Series

Test Bench UTB-NON-Elevated Series

Overview:

R&D Instruments’ Universal Test Bench (UTB) – Non-Elevated Series is a comprehensive calibration workstation designed to support accurate testing, verification, and maintenance of industrial instrumentation in laboratories, workshops, and training facilities. Built with a robust mild steel frame and laminated work surfaces, the bench provides a durable and ergonomic platform for mounting multiple calibration instruments in a single integrated system.

The UTB is equipped with essential utilities including AC and DC power supplies, pneumatic and hydraulic pressure calibration systems, multifunction calibrators, and a dry block temperature calibrator, enabling technicians to perform a wide range of thermal, pressure, and electrical calibration tasks from one centralized workstation.

The bench features a professionally engineered panel layout with clearly labelled controls, high-quality wiring, and organized pneumatic tubing to ensure safe and efficient operation. Integrated safety elements such as residual current circuit breakers, miniature circuit breakers, and an emergency stop enhance operator protection during testing procedures. With additional storage cabinets for tools and accessories, the UTB offers a practical and space-efficient solution for instrument calibration, troubleshooting, and training activities, helping organizations maintain process reliability, measurement accuracy, and compliance with industrial calibration standards.

Test Bench UTB-NON-Elevated Series Applications:

  • Calibration and testing of pressure instruments such as pressure transmitters, pressure gauges, pressure switches, and differential pressure sensors using integrated pneumatic and hydraulic calibrators.
  • Verification and calibration of temperature measurement devices including thermocouples, RTDs, temperature transmitters, and indicators using the dry block temperature calibrator.
  • Calibration and troubleshooting of electrical process signals such as mA, mV, V, resistance, and frequency using the integrated multifunction calibrator.
  • Loop testing and commissioning of industrial control systems including PLC, DCS, and SCADA input/output signals.
  • Testing and validation of process transmitters and controllers by simulating real process conditions such as pressure, temperature, and electrical signals.
  • Used in instrumentation laboratories and workshops for routine calibration, maintenance, and repair of industrial instruments.
  • Ideal for training and educational institutes to demonstrate practical calibration techniques for pressure, temperature, and electrical instruments.
